  1. For any of those that lived in the Alps, love the Alps, want to learn more about the Alps, or visit the Alps, I would highly recommend this documentary. This movie gives a brief history of the Alps and it also gives a great feel of what it is like being in the Alps. The story is inspiring, and wholesome. For roughly $15, this is a worthwhile buy.

  3. Top notch video and sound quality. Extras not in HD, but worth watching anyway. Some viewers will be shaking their heads in disbelief when they see the humans in the film risking their lives for no good reason at all. Are they insane? I think they are…

  4. I have many Documentaries. This one is by far the best. The Blu-Ray display is exagerated, and when they look at a straight drop, you may feel ill. They travel through Europe and scale many Mountains. FUN!

  5. Wow!

Having just finished watching ‘the Alps’ I feel compelled to post a review so more people can see this beautifully shot documentary.

Shot in high definition IMAX format that really gives an excellent, true to life representation of ‘being there’ and with great shot selection, informative narration and a moving story this is high definition in all its glory.

This Blu Ray is also ‘region free’ and works on my Australian Blu Ray player as it should on any region player so there is no reason to miss this documentary!

Without a doubt top shelf high definition vieiwing, the Swiss truly live in a remarkable and breathtaking country.
