  1. Hard to point out highlights as there are so many: Tina Turner doing “River Deep, Mountain High”; Little Richard and Mick Jagger doing “I Can’t Turn You Loose”; Bo Diddley with Robbie Robertson on “Hey, Bo Diddley”/”Bo Diddley”, Chubby Checker twistin’ it up, really boomin’ off Keith Richards’ riffs.

Speeches are surprisingly short, or apparently short, but Tina Turner’s tribute to Phil Spector and Steve Van Zandt’s to The Rascals, are priceless.

A nice finale is Chuck Berry performing “Johnny B. Goode” with an above-average (just kidding) pick-up band, something about E-Street.

Very good video and audio, though microphones are down at times.

(Great to have full-length, full-blown takes of bits and pieces we’ve watched over the years on the 10 o’clock news).
    Rating: 5 / 5
