I guess Logitech has been reduced to deleting reviews ..so here I go again..and will again..This product is built well. That's about the extent of my good review. The bad:The drivers are not support by Logitech newest interface. G-Hub. They are old and painful to install. Even when I did finally get them installed on Windows, I struggled with game configuration than I wanted to go through..The support is abysmal as I have come to expect from Logitech. Gone are the days of phone...A $500 product with no phone support is unacceptable. Support email was 24 hours at best and information was useless. Figured out the above drivers issue on my own ...
I was not going to purchase this unit for some time. I am a flight Sim enthusiast for as long as we have had flight sims. What a difference in choices todayThis wheel, pedals, and shifter was bought in a package setup I believe by Logitech via Amazon.I would never have thought I would be lured away from the flight sims and trying my hand a racing and believe it or not, driving a semi truck through Europe. The pedals are pressure sensitive. The gas and brake pedals are really impressive. The clutch works exactly like a clutch, what else can say.The steering wheel with the buttons on the on spokes and the paddle shifters are just about the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.I have had a couple of chances to drive my Daughters' really nice car with the paddle shifter on sport mode and this is just as much of a kick in the pants as in the real car.I am not sure why some people have problems with the steering adjustments or the pedal adjustments, but I had no Problems at all.And BTW, if you have any problems, my experience all the years with Logitech is they will take care of it right away when under warrantyThe steering wheel has several adjustments that can be made per game and it as far as I can tell remembers each games adjustment. So no going back to the board and finding everything again. So far this has become my favorite sim when time allows.Unfortunately my kids have grown up with kids of their own so no one here to share the game. The Grandkids would rather do the First Person Shooters, but maybe I can coax them into trying the driving, or at least practice before they start driving for real.Highly Recommended.Joe from Norcal
It does everything it claims to do. And it does it well.My only complaint with this is that the wheel is tiny as are the petals. When you're driving your car, you have about twice the width of the pedal peripheral in legroom. This makes it uncomfortable to use with two legs, and the wheel being tiny just throws me off.Maybe it's just something you need to get used to, but for the price this thing packs, I expected these tiny comforts to be coverer too.
