  2. These vengeance movies are all pretty much the same– in the end, how excited you get is greatly measured by 1) how well the dramatic tension is built up in order that you orgasm your way to relief in the martial arts finale and 2) the quality of that very martial arts finale.

Kickboxer was in my opinion, JCVD’s best movie in both regards…

Antoher unintended bonus is the incredibly cute and sexy Rochelle Ashana–

She is not only visually breathtaking– but her cries of support for JCVD in the final battle will bring tears to your eyes in their unabashed sincerity(i.e. great acting job!)

  5. Jean-Claude young and fresh and kicking ass. By now you’re either a fan or not so I won’t linger on his abilities. This is one of his early best featuring emphasis on story over action (but the action is classic Jean-Claude) and featuring one of the best and most taciturn bad guys to ever disgrace the silver screen. I’m not a technofile so as to the Blu-Ray transfer, it looked and sounded great to me. As the lead in says – a must have for real fans of Van Damme.
