  1. Michael,

I am a huge fan and have bought every CD and DVD you’ve released. You’re one of the few good artists left. Sinatra recorded what? Over a hundred LP’s and CD’s…and yea I bought most of them plus I’ve bought every recording Tony Bennett ever made. What’s the main difference with your CD’s and Sinatra’s hundred, Bennett’s hundred, and Streisand’s first fifty albums…even Johnny Mathis with his wide array of albums??? These four giants introduced us to new songs or old songs with new arrangements and I was thrilled and always got my money’s worth when I purchased all of these…but Michael, you need a new A.&R. man to select a dozen new tunes when you decide to cut a new album or CD. It seems that every Buble CD I purchase seems to be songs you’ve recorded over and over. ASCAP and BMI have literally hundreds of thousands of pop, jazz, and ballads which would fare well with your great voice! You appeal to an older set who miss the great recording artists in past decades. Look at the amazing Ella, she cut double discs of the music of Gershwin, Berlin, Rodgers, Ellington, Kern, on and on and on and my (your) generation couldn’t wait for her next release. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Pick twelve to twenty older standards and give us our money which becomes YOUR money when we’re pleased. Is there ONE new cut on the “Caught in the Act” new release? Looking at the contents, I think I already own two, three, or possibly four previous cuts by you on older CD’s.

Give Barbra or Tony a call and ask them for ideas of songs to record in case YOU’VE run out of ideas. Sure, I love Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse’s “Feeling Good” from “Roar of the Greasepaint”.but they wrote dozens of songs equally as good which would show off your talent extremely well. See if you can find a Newley/Bricusse original cast album of “It’s a Good Old, Bad Old World”…and discover its hit song, “The Best Things in Life Were All Mine”. It was written for a singer such as yourself. Am I ready…in order to be a true Buble fan…to fork out another twenty-five bucks for the Blu-Ray “Caught in the Act” when I bought it last year, the year before…and the one before that???

  2. Dear Michael,

How could you allow a shoddy product to be released? Luckily I DVR’d the David Foster Hit Man program recently on PBS HD, so at least I have a properly recorded segment of you performing until I can buy the Hit Man DVD.

If you put out a quality item then people will buy…shame on you and your manager for taking a shortcut. Next thing we know you’ll be doing a “Milli Vanilli” on us. Bad choice.

  3. Caught In The Act is the only good dvd Michael has ever put out. I hope there are some new stuff on the BLU-RAY version. Region one is not playable in Australia, so I’m waitimg for the right format. Some advice for Michael: BETTER COME OUT WITH AS MANY GOOD DVDS ASAP, BECAUSE I DON;T THINK YOU ARE GOING TO BE AS ENDURING AS SINATRA, BENNETT,….. GET THE MESSAGE, MICHAEL?

  4. This show is fantastic. Michael Bublé is really a showman and knows how to entertain his public. But the image and audio of this Blu-ray aren’t in the same level. It’s like a DVD burnt into a Blu-ray disc.

    Very disappointing.
