One of the worst bad cop movies I’ve ever seen and a waste of time. Totally unrealistic and quite a fairy tale. I can’t believe the caliber of actors that tried, unsuccessfully, to make this a good film.

There was some good character acting, but much of this was not believable. (Warning: Plot spoilers). For example:

1. Can we really believe that some number of police single other officer else knew about? And that they could burn it without anyone knowing about it. (There was no leakage on the radio?)

2. Can we really believe that a police officer’s going into a store to rob it was enough to create a riot the size of the one featured at the end of the film?

3. Can we really believe that a drug dealer that does not want to be found would be found within the space of a day? And then when he WAS found, he would go out without a fight? (He was portrayed as a bad MF in the earliest parts of the movie. But he went out like a ‘ho when he was found.)

4. If someone is a crooked cop, fair enough. But it seems that all these cops developed morality just in time to make a good scene. So, one cop has been on the take for some number of years. And knew what was his involvment in a murder plot. He didn’t seem the faintest bit fussed — until after a reporter called him for an interview. Then he conveniently needed to commit suicide after the interview. The next cop committed suicide by mob (that’s the first time I’ve ever seen that). But he only committed suicide after there was a mob there which he could use in the service of his suicide– and he only developed some morality at just that point.

Save your money. This is worth a rental price AFTER it gets off the “hot” shelf at Blockbuster (or wherever).

Of the 20 minutes my family and I saw of this movie, we agreed it had potential, but the cussing was just way too much, so we clicked it off and returned it to the video store. From the start, the “F” word was used excessively, and the Lord’s Name was taken in vain without shame, which is just simply unnacceptable. Even in the characters’ casual conversation there was an unrealistic assault of foul language. This movie was just poorly written.

I turned this movie off as soon as the police started beating women and stealing babies. I wanted to and should have turned it off sooner. If I wanted to see depressing and tasteless trash like this, I would just watch the news.

The film doesn’t bring nothing new about what can happen in the police of any country. Movies are to be enternaiment, they can be violent, sad, happy, scare you … but an actor and all the people involved that agree in perform a scene like that with the baby … SHAME ON YOU Farrel !!!
