Sorry, but some fault lies with Nickelback on this – to say that this concert video was long-awaited is an understatement, selling the butchered version exclusively smacks of appreciating all the fools that got this as a gift, didn’t realize it would -BE- censored, etc. having to buy a Second copy… sad. Is is pretty safe to say that Wally might not have sold as many copies of their handiwork if the real item was available for sale? That’s ok, though, we are stupid, have short memories, you name it, you know you will get away with this without having to apologize for be-otch-slapping your fans.

Additionally, as an old-school Live Performance buyer, what Phargn Bean Counter was allowed to decide that a concert video is -Now- 61 minutes? I heard about -one- nickelback concert where two band members were Sick, so they could only play 100 minutes. Leave it to RIAA/Hollywood “I hate the customers” types to decide that the full concert is too much value for the price.

I can only hope that Nickelback reads these reviews – this was a FANTASTIC ~1/2-of-a-concert that they allowed to be butchered, IMHO.

Hope you make tons on the pre-planned retrospective collections that will include all the content you’ve been schooled to HIDE — too bad no one will care when you finally get ’round to releasing it.

(do I sound bitter?)

Nickelback released the first batch of this dvd to Walmart. They have the exclusive until March 10. They’re the ones responsible for the censorship. Walmart can treat their employees bad, but God forbid if some swear words or ta ta’s are shown. After that date the dvd will be re-released in all it’s unbleeping glory. It’s just very unfortunate that Nickelback felt the need to sellout to Walmart, instead of thinking about their fans first. Walmart gave them a huge pile of money for the exclusive.

The performance from Nickelback is fine as always, but this DVD has been heavily censored. What is the point of filming at Sturgis if all of the topless biker chicks are covered up with floating black blobs. Next time, just film at Disneyland!

A live concert that is censored? Isn’t it most important to make the viewer feel like they are at the concert, sitting in the best seat in the house?? Every time something is censored, you find yourself on the outside looking in.

If you are a nickelback fan, you will love this!

If you have been on another planet and have never experienced a heavy rock outfit pumping out some of the best headbanging riffs, get onto this blu ray disc.

This band is tight, powerful, controlled and delivers music at an intensity that is up there with some of the best rock outfits of the modern age.

The dvd video is brilliantly captured and the sound track is equally superbly mixed and recorded and offers all the usual sound options of blu-ray discs.

The PCM option is fantastic for those wanting to put the sound back through their ageing 2channel stereo amps.

This disc is worth whatever you have to pay to get it into your lounge rooom.
