I was very disapointed when i saw this movie. In my opinion, it was the worst Batman movie. Batman and Robin was the Best!!!!!! Batman and Robin had 2 supheroes, the acting was better and it was well written. I own Batman and Robin on video, dvd and im going to get the special edition one but im not getting batman begins. Batman and Robin was great!!!! I HOPE THEY MAKE BATMAN AND ROBIN 2.

Batman- bad

Batman Returns- terrible

Batman Forever- bad

Batman and Robin- Fantastic

Batman Begins- Miserable

BATMAN AND ROBIN!!!!!!!!!

Yes,this is who this ‘movie’ is geared for, those that have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. It also helps if you 1.) are in the 13-25 yr. old demographic, and 2.) have no sense of movie history.

Folks,if you haven’t seen this ‘Bat movie’,and are planning to,then before you do,watch the following movies:

Batman ’89

Batman Returns

Batman Forever

the Shadow (with Alec Baldwin)

Spider-Man

any James Bond movie

Nolan, and Goyer totally steal/rip-off concepts from all of the above mentioned movies, and they do not even try to be subtle about it.

Batman ’89: black rubber suit, villian is responsible for the death of Bruce’s parents hence motivation for being Batman is resolved, and over the top Batmobile.

Batman Begins: rip off of Batman ’89.

Batman Returns: black rubber suit,’glider-cape’,and stun gun is used to defeat one of the villians.

Batman Begins: rip off of Batman Returns.

Batman Forever: Two different rubber suits, and Bruce makes peace/accepts being Batman as a choice,no longer ‘captive’ to the ‘ghosts’ of his parents’ death.

Batman Begins: rip off of Batman Forever (pay attention to Kilmer’s second suit, compare that to Bale’s suit…hmmmmmm…

Also, does Bale wear some type of second suit [perhaps slight modification]? Pay attention to last scene of Begins.

the Shadow: Begins rips off the beginning of the Shadow for the idea of Bruce’s training.

Spider-Man: Begins rips off Spider-Man’s resolution for its’ love story.

James Bond: Begins rips off the Bond/Q relationship in order for Bruce to come upon his ‘Bat stash’.

Folks, you have read/heard about how awful the action scenes are edited, yes? It gets worse! The non-action scenes are truly edited for the ADD/ADHD crowd. (I suspect that Nolan was a huge fan of MTV while growing up.)

Bale, you had a chance to be a great Bat,but thanks to the awful script, and editing you never had a chance. You are, sadly,in the same boat that Clooney found himself in.

In time, this movie will be revisited, and acknowledged for the pointless waste that it is.

Alan Horn, you greenlighted this piece of dreck. You should be ashamed.

Folks, one more thing. What do all the previous Bat movies have in common? Big ‘over the top’ endings. What does Begins have? A big ‘over the top’ ending, and that is the last thing you should have for when Batman is just beginning!

This movie shows us how Batman begins and how Bruce Wayne became the Caped Crusader and it is an impressive film with an impressive cast from Michael Cane to Tom Wilkinson. Unfortunately, it fails to measure up to the summer blockbuster, Star Wars- Revenge of the Sith, by the best movie of 2005. Sure, I saw Batman Begins twice and I enjoyed the movie but Christian Bale doesn’t have the appeal of George Clooney or Michael Keaton. By the far worst actor to play Batman would be Val Kilmer in Batman Forever because he lacked the maturity of George Clooney and Michael Keaton.

Batman Begins is a good movie but fails to measure up to Star Wars- Revenge of the Sith.

This movie was a bore. The first 45 minutes was a lot of philosophy/psychology mumbo-jumbo about the journey and “fear is not fear if it’s fear” or some such nonsense. The action scenes were frenetic and hard to follow as in who was fighting whom. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were good additions to the cast, but following the plot was like slogging through mud. The special effects shots were good, but by the time the big-deal climactic battle arrived, I had already given up on this waste of time. I can’t believe that so many national critics gave it good reviews.
